DDI is industry jargon for Direct Dial Inward, although our North American cousins prefer to call it DID for Direct Inward Dial, what
ever you prefer to call it, the service is identically the same, in that it provides a dedicated number to your telephone/IP-PBX.


Gone are the days where business have a switchboard operator who would answer all of the calls then transfer them to the internal
extension, mainly for the cost saving factor alone. These days, each member of staff can be given a "direct line" so customers and
clients alike can reach the correct person or department with out the need of a switchboard operator.


Melonite can instantly provision telephone numbers in any of the United Kingdom's telephone area codes,
including Northern and the Republic of Ireland*.


Providing a single number or a block of sequential numbers.

You have an office in Sunderland with 7 employee's, you want each employee to have a direct telephone line. We can provide
you with all 10 numbers in sequential order.

The remaining unused numbers can be sent to a message, the reception or have them "Out of Service" until you are ready to activate
