Number Porting


Melonite number porting is available to both our business and residential customers, this is when we take control of your number
from your current provider. This allows you to move away from your current service provider, be it BT or Virgin and make huge savings
on line rental.


Porting time scales vary depending on the amount of numbers and the type of service the number is connect to.
Please see the table below for a reference guide.

Single Line 1 Number 7 Clear working days.
Single Line with > 10 Numbers 14 Clear working days.
Multi-Line - 30 Numbers or < 7 Clear working days.
Multi-Line - 31 Numbers or > 17 Clear working days.
Multi-Line - Complex
Such as FeatureNet or Centrex
22 Clear working days.

A clear working day is the next full working day, for example if you submit the request on Monday afternoon, the first
working day would be Tuesday.


Porting Fee's and Costs.
The cost of porting a single number is £17.50 with a max fee of £150.00 regardless of the amount of numbers submitted for
porting, so long as the numbers are all on the same account. Please note that a charge of £17.50 is also payable for failed
ports where the customer provides incorrect or incomplete information.

On-Going Cost
The charge (your line rental) is £1.25 per month, this is payable either monthly or annually at £15.00 per year. Payment is via a
debit or credit card.
